Keith R. Fuller, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 with his devoted wife and advocate at his side. He is the loving husband of Roberta (Albrecht) Fuller.
Born in Rochester, PA, he is the son of William H. and Margaret E. (Webber) Fuller.
After graduating from Beaver Area High School, Keith attended Penn State University. Keith proudly served in the U.S. Navy on two destroyers: the U.S.S. Robinson and U.S.S. Soley. After moving back to Beaver, Keith worked for U.S. Steel in Ambridge, PA. He was a dedicated volunteer fire fighter for 20 years and eventually President of the Beaver Volunteer Fire Department.
He received a Master’s Degree and spent much of his professional career as an entrepreneur specializing in artisan hand-sculpted glass and retail gifts. He never retired, believing that anything was possible, so just keep going. Continuing to take part in the day to day operations of his business, Keith enjoyed interacting with his customers and remained part of his business enterprises for 35 years at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. A gentle giant, he enjoyed interacting with everyone: customers, strangers, and friends. He continued to live a dynamic lifestyle every day regardless of any physical limitations he had.
In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, reading science fiction, Pittsburgh Steelers, Star Trek, Aruba, going to casinos, history, the Navy, playing poker, golfing, bowling, coffee, hoagies, playing the lottery, Pawn Stars, McDonalds, fruitcake, Frostys and steak with onions.
In addition to his wife Roberta he is survived by two children; Michael Fuller (husband of Jennifer Knisely) and Rebecca Jahnke (wife of Glenn Jahnke). Also surviving are his two adoring grandchildren, Alyssa Jahnke and Craig Jahnke. His intelligence and wisdom helped sculpt the outlooks and minds of his children, grandchildren, and those special enough to be lives he touched. He will be profoundly missed by those he fought so hard to stay with.
