A. Ross Weaver, Jr.
A. Ross Weaver, Jr. 96, of Lancaster, passed away on October 23, 2018 at Lancashire Hall. He was the loving husband of the late Marion A. Weaver. Born in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of the late A. Ross Weaver, Sr. and Cora (Newcomer) Weaver.
In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and was an avid coin collector and bridge player.
He proudly served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII.
Ross was the long-time owner of Weaver’s Exxon in Salunga and a member of the Landisville Church of God.
He is survived by his children: Jeffrey A. Weaver, husband of Katherine (Shook), Landisville; Gregory L. Weaver, husband of Judith (Lundgren), Lancaster; Mark R. Weaver, husband of Carol (Longenecker), Lancaster; and Karen L. Weaver, New Holland. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ross’ funeral service at the Landisville Church of God, 171 Church Street, Landisville on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Viewing and visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will immediately follow in the adjoining Landisville Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ross’s memory may be sent to the Friendship Community, 1149 East Oregon Road, Lititz PA 17543.
