Adeline J. Danz

Adeline J. Danz, 94, of Lancaster, passed away at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy, on Tuesday May 9, 2017. Born in Lancaster, a daughter to John R. and Elizabeth Springman Jarrett, her husband, Robert A. Danz, died in 1972.

She was a McCaskey H.S. graduate and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Millersville. She was employed by Prudential Insurance, was also a member of Greater Beneficial Union and served as Secretary Treasurer for over 40 years. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving relatives are sons, Robert A Danz Jr. and companion Rachel Serrano, Russell A. Danz, daughter-in-law, Carol Danz, brother, John Jarrett and grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Richard A. Danz and sisters June Groft and Betty Bisking.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service to be held at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 222 N George St, Millersville, PA 17551 on Tuesday May 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Friends may greet the family from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow the service at Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, Lancaster.
