Alberta Tonkin
Alberta Tonkin age 85 of Little Egg Harbor NJ, passed away March 8, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Tonkin was born in Jackson Twp. NJ and was a retired secretary for Rutgers Marine Field Station in Little Egg Harbor, she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Parkertown.
Predeceased by her husband William J. in 1980 she is survived by her two children Linda Smith and William G. Tonkin both of Little Egg Harbor, three grandchildren Richard Carras (Donna), Thomas Tonkin (Kari), and Katherine Sojka (Robert), five great grandchildren Brady, Joshua, Hadassa, Calvin and Linus.
Visitation will be Thursday March 16, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church 850 Railroad Dr. Little Egg Harbor NJ 08087 where the service will begin at 12 noon. Burial will follow the service at Greenwood Cemetery Tuckerton NJ. Memorial contributions are being requested to the church. Services have been entrusted to the DeBord Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory 141 E. Orange St. Lancaster PA 17602.
