Alma H. Shepley
Alma H. Shepley, 94, of 19 St. Mark Ave., Lititz, PA passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center, Lititz, PA. She was the widow of John Shepley.
Born in Lancaster, PA she was the daughter of the late John L. and Catherine Dean Hollinger.
Mrs. Shepley was a member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.
She graduated from Penn Manor High School where she enjoyed playing field hockey. She enjoyed watching baseball and ice hockey, doing jigsaw and word puzzles, traveling and hanging out with “the girls.”
She retired from Sperry New Holland, and prior to that she worked at Hamilton Watch Company.
Alma is survived by her sister, Janice M. Wallick of Lancaster, and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by 3 brothers, Donald, Kenneth and Marvin Hollinger and 2 sisters, Elva Peters and Ruth Hollinger.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service in the Community Room of Luther Acres, 250 St. Luke Drive, Lititz, PA on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. Friends may call in the Community Room from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service. Private interment will be held at Conestoga Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be sent to the charity of one’s choice.
