Alma R. Williams, 91, passed peacefully into the presence of her savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, November 25th at her residence at Evergreen Estates Retirement Community in Lancaster, PA. A lifelong resident of the Norristown area, she moved to Lancaster in 2011. Born in Jeffersonville (Norristown), PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Hannah Rittenhouse and wife of the late Robert E. Williams who passed away in 2007.
Alma, a graduate of Norristown High School, was a devoted wife and mother who worked for a number of years as a teaching assistant at the Child Development Center in Jeffersonville.
She is survived by two sons, Jeffery J. Williams (Mary E.) of Lancaster, PA and Gregory R. Williams (Karla) of Clearfield, PA., four grandchildren and their spouses, six great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her late husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Beatrice MacIlwain and brother William Rittenhouse and her half-brothers Wilson and Leroy Getty.
She was a lifelong member of Jeffersonville Presbyterian Church.

A graveside service will be conducted at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, PA on Wednesday, December 3 at 11:30 AM with David Larkin, pastor of Jeffersonville Presbyterian Church officiating.
