Anna “Ann” Gol, 80, of Akron, and formerly of Lititz, passed away on Wednesday, July 27th, at Moravian Manor in Lititz. She was the loving wife of the late Andrew Gol who died in 2000.
Ann was a courier for over 15 years, traveling many miles from Lititz to Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., New Jersey, Connecticut and many points in between. She loved to be on the road. She previously worked for Schick Inc. until their closure. Ann was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Lititz.
She is survived by two daughters, Deborah, married to Paul Murr of Akron, and Andrea, married to Charles Rettew III of Manheim; a son, James of Broken Arrow, OK and 8 grandchildren.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Ave., Lititz, PA on Monday, August 1, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with Fr. James O’Blaney as celebrant.
Friends may call at St. James Catholic Church on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass. Final commendation and farewell in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Moravian Manor, 300 W. Lemon St., Lititz, PA 17543.
