Anna May Buch
Anna May Buch, 84, of Lancaster passed away on Wednesday, September 19th, 2012 at her home. She was the loving wife of the late Robert R. Buch.
Born on September 5 1928, she was the daughter of the late Henry W. and Mary C. Harris Huber.
She graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School and spent much of her professional career as a bookkeeper for Lancaster Theological Seminary.
She was a proud member of Grace Lutheran Church in Lancaster where she was a member of The Couples Club and The Ladies Circle.
In her spare time she enjoyed attending shows at the Fulton Opera House where she was a long standing member. She devoted the rest of her time to caring for her family and pets.
She is survived by two sons; Henry Leroy Buch, companion of Susan Rinier, and Joseph Mathew Buch, companion of Courtney Courtraine both of Lancaster; a daughter, Lori Ann Buch, companion of Ray C. Aument, Jr. of Lancaster; a granddaughter, Heather Ann Buch of Lancaster, three great-granddaughters, Maria, Shanta and Magdalena and two great-grandsons Phillip and Lucas. Also surviving is a sister Rose Schelling.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 27th, 2012 at 12:00 P.M. at Grace Lutheran Church, 517 North Queen Street, Lancaster, PA with the Reverend Stephen P. Verkouw officiating. Friends may call at the church on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Buch’s memory may be made to the church at the address listed above.
