Anne M. Glowa
Anne M. Glowa, 95, of Landisville, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2011 with her family by her side at Oak Leaf Manor North.
Born in New York City, Anne was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Maria (TanZone) Muccio. She was married for 48 years to John P. Glowa, who died in 2005. Early in her career she worked for the court system in the City of New York, but spent most of her life as a homemaker. Anne was an excellent cook and focused her life on her family. She was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church.
Anne is survived by her daughter Mary Anne, wife of Mark A. Ritter of Landisville, and her three granddaughters, Pamela, Megan, and Lauren Ritter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Anne was preceded in death by her brothers Daniel, Michael, Joseph and Anthony Muccio and her sisters Rose Muccio, Josephine Grecco and Lucille Madigan.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 16th at 10:00 AM at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, PA with the Reverend Peter I. Hahn as celebrant. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Friends may call at the Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA on Sunday, May 15th from 7:00-9:00 PM and at the church on Monday from 9:00 AM until the time of service. The Rosary will be recited at the funeral home Sunday at 8:30 PM.
