Arlene “Jane” Smoker

Arlene “Jane” Walker Smoker, 91, of Garden Spot Village, formerly of Lancaster, PA, passed away on June 23, 2019. She lost her first love of her life, Lee Smoker, on January 24, 2013, after 64 years of marriage.

She was born in Willow Street, PA to the late Charles and Christiana Walker. She was predeceased by the following siblings: Charles, Kirk, Harold, Earl, Elwood, Dick, Florence Rynier, Dorothy Forrest, Ruth Pfautz, Mildred Brandt, and Verna Lefever.

She worked for RCA, Hubley Toys, and retired from Schick Electric.

She is survived by 2 daughters; Beverly (Ronald) Brubaker, and Bonnie (Fred) Anderson. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 2 step-granddaughters, 3 great-grandchildren, and 2 great step- grandchildren.

Jane always loved to have fun and keep people laughing. She and Lee were always there to help those in need without a second thought. They truly loved their family and friends. They loved going to their cabin and being part of the Conestoga Sertoma Club. She will truly be missed by many.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend a funeral service on Monday, July 1, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the DeBord Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17602. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
