Arthur K. Teisen

Arthur K. Teisen, 73, of Willow Valley Communities, Willow Street, PA went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 30, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born in Brooklyn, NY he was the son of the late Torvald and Ruth (Augland) Teisen. He and his wife Janet (Gabrielsen) had been married 53 years and lived in East Hanover, NJ for more than 50 years. Art was an active member of Calvary Evangelical Free Church in Essex Fells, NJ prior to moving to Willow Valley 2 months ago. He was a member of the New York Carpenters union as a dock builder for over 35 years.

In addition to his wife, Janet, Art is survived by his children: Cindy, wife of Kent Warkentin of Ridgeway, Ontario, Steven, husband of Jennifer Teisen of Southampton, NJ and Christy Teisen of Boca Raton, FL, along with his grandchildren: Tori, Bradley, Brett, Lauren and Rachel.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service at 11 am on Saturday, November 11 at Calvary Evangelical Free Church, 450 Fells Rd., Essex Fells, NJ 07021. The family will greet friends immediately following the service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
