Bette B. Johnstin
Bette B. Johnstin, 92, of Lancaster, died at home on Saturday, September 6, 2014.
She was the wife of the late Robert Johnstin who died in 2002. Born in Idetown, PA she was the daughter of the late Horace M. and Liva M. McKeel Welch.
Bette was a homemaker and a member of the Pearl St. United Methodist Church in Lancaster. She was a former member of Lancaster Liederkranz. Her interests included canning, working at the Greek festival in Lancaster, and volunteering in her church.
Surviving is a son, Lamont P. husband of Debra L. Johnstin of Lancaster; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Richard A. Sheetz Funeral Home, 2024 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, with the Rev. Debra J. Schreiber officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment in Summer Hill Cemetery, Berwick, PA. If desired, contributions in her memory may be made to AseraCare Hospice, 315 Primrose Ln, Mountville, PA 17554.
