Bette Dzielski
Elizabeth A. “Bette” Dzielski, 91, a resident of the Susquehanna Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Columbia, PA, died Monday, July 15, 2013.
She was the wife of late Joseph M. “DZ” Dzielski who died in 1996. Born in Mount Pleasant, West Moreland County, PA she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Antoinetta Elmo DeLeva.
Elizabeth worked for many years as a secretary to different judges at the Lancaster County Courthouse. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Her interests included bowling, bingo and riding the roller coasters at Hersheypark.
Surviving is a daughter, Joanne wife of John Bowman of Mountville; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Gainer.
A Christian Prayer service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Richard A. Sheetz Funeral Home, 2024 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment in the St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17602.
