Betty J. Urich

Betty J. Urich, 86, formerly of Lancaster and Lititz, PA, entered into rest on Thursday, September 2nd at Pleasant View Retirement Community. She was the wife of the late Arthur E. Urich who entered into rest in August, 1988. Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Ida Myers Hershock.

Mrs. Urich graduated from the Lancaster General Hospital as a medical technologist and Franklin & Marshall College. She also served in the WAVES in the U.S. Navy during WWII. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially vacationing at the Outer Banks.

She is survived by a daughter, Marcia J., wife of Richard J. Weaver of Lititz and two granddaughters.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service from the Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA on Tuesday, September 7th at 10:30 a.m. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in Shrewsbury Lutheran Cemetery, York Co., PA.
