C. Jane Biemesderfer
C. Jane Biemesderfer, 92, a resident of Moravian Manor, Lititz, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 24, 2014.
Jane was a long-time resident of Morrisville, Bucks County before coming to Moravian Manor in 1993. She was a member of the Morrisville United Methodist Church and was last employed with Educational Testing Services of Princeton, NJ. She enjoyed cooking, baking and being involved in the social activities at Moravian Manor, but her greatest passion was her family. During her time at Moravian Manor, she was well cared for by the compassionate staff.
Born in Lancaster, Jane was the daughter of the late Harry and Augusta Luneke Bruederly. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 65 years, James L. Biemesderfer of Morrisville; her son, Thomas J. Biemesderfer of Lancaster; two daughters, Beverly J. Biemesderfer of Lancaster, and Charlotte A., wife of George Duthie, of Yardley; two granddaughters, Stephanie and Christine Duthie; her niece Helene Shaubach of Lancaster, and dear friend and caregiver Elain Mann of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 1:00pm at the Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 noon. Entombment will be in the Shrine of Memories Mausoleum at Conestoga Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Moravian Manor, 300 W. Lemon St., Lititz, PA 17543 or to the Manheim Township Ambulance Association, 1820 Municipal Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601
