Catherine E. Mcnelis
Catherine E. McNelis, 91, passed away in Lancaster, PA on January 27, 2014. She was the wife of the late Jerome C. McNelis who died in 1991. Born in Manchester, CT, she was the daughter of the late Edward F. and Selma Crumpton Gorman.
She graduated from Manchester High School and spent her adult life as a homemaker who loved to play golf.
Catherine was preceded in death by three sisters, Lorraine Hahn of Manchester, CT; Florence Eldridge of Torrington, CT; and Gertrude Marganti of Cranston, RI.
She is survived by 3 nieces, 5 nephews and several grand nieces and nephews.
Interment will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be sent to the American Diabetes Association, 301 Chestnut St., Suite 101 Harrisburg, PA 17101.
