Catherine “Kitty” Rudisill, 93, a resident of Hamilton Arms, formerly of Rohrerstown, died Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Raymond W. Rudisill who died in 1977. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Miles and Estella Shreiner Lutz. Kitty retired from the former St. Joseph Hospital where she had worked for many years. She was a member of the Salem United Church of Christ in Rohrerstown and had been active with the Bible Study group. One of Kitty’s hobbies was making lap robes and she had made over 1,000 of them, donating them to nursing and veteran’s homes. Surviving is a son, Raymond W., Jr., husband of Phyllis Rudisill of Willow Street; one grandson Mark W. Rudisill of Willow Street; and a sister-in-law Margaret Goodman of Lancaster; and several nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Rohrerstown Lutheran and Reformed Cemetery, 2312 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, PA with the Rev. Laverne DiNino officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Rudisill’s memory may be made to the Salem United Church of Christ, 2312 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17601.
