Catherine M. Smith
Catherine M. Smith, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Hamilton Arms. Born in Lancaster she was the daughter of the late Chester V. Smith, Sr. and Catherine A. (Lewis) Smith.
After graduating from High school, Catherine spent her career with Hamilton Watch Company where she also sang in the choir.
She was a member of the Pennsylvania Order of the Eastern Star, James Buchanan Chapter 315, The Red Hatters, and the Order of the Amaranth.
In her spare time she enjoyed singing soloist and in a choir and playing pinochle.
Catherine was a member at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.
She is survived by two Nephews, Barry A. Smith, and wife Patricia, and Brian V. Smith, and many other Nieces and Nephews.
She was predeceased by her four brothers.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service at Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17602 on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM. A viewing will be held Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Riverview Burial Park
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society of Lancaster County, 314 Good Dr., Lancaster, PA.
