Charles Frederick Rengier IV, 62, of Lancaster, died at The Lancaster General Hospital on March 16, 2013 after a 10 day struggle with lung cancer.
He was the son of the late Mary N. Rengier and John B. Rengier. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lin, sisters-in-law Carole Berwager and her family, Barbara Marzinko and her family, brothers-in-law Jim Rouzer and his family, and Tom Rouzer and his family. He was pre-deceased by a brother Bill.
Charles worked as a cabinetmaker making antique reproduction furniture for most of his adult life. He enjoyed antiquing at venues in Lancaster County, and attending public sales. He was fascinated by animals, from the fish and frogs in his backyard pond to the birds at his feeder, and his cats and dogs.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 558 W. Walnut Street, Lancaster, PA 17603 with the Rev. Michael E. Messner as Celebrant. A visitation will take place Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.

17602, from whom he got his last dog.
