Charles W. Mac Rae

Charles “Chuck” W. Mac Rae, 79, of Willow Valley Communities, died December 9, 2015 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center.

Born in Paterson, NJ, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Mabel (Hamilton) Mac Rae.  He was the loving husband of Linda (Hardt) Mac Rae to whom he celebrated 46 years of marriage October 25.

Charles was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was employed as a processing control engineer, retiring in 1998.  During his lifetime, he enjoyed playing golf and woodworking.  He was of Christian faith.

Charles was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth E. Mac Rae.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Orr Auditorium of Willow Valley Manor, 211 Willow Valley Square, Lancaster, PA, 17602 with the Rev. Norman Linhart officiating. Linda will greet friends on Friday (in the Clubhouse outside the Orr Auditorium) from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Interment will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.
