Charles Wm. Stoll
Charles W. “Doc” Stoll, 61, of Mountville, died Monday, Nov ember 11, 2013 at Lancaster General Hospital.
He was married 44 years to Sheila C. Welk Stoll. Born in Elizabeth, NJ he was the son of the late Harry P., Jr. and Anna C. VonStetten Stoll.
Doc had spent many years working for Trojan Yacht and Fleetwood Homes. He enjoyed model railroading and was a member of the Train Collectors of America. His other interest included woodworking, working in his yard, listening to oldies, drag racing his ’55 Chevy and following NASCAR. He had been an avid fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr.
Surviving besides his wife are three sons, Robert A. husband of Emily Stoll of Ellicott City, MD, Stephen D. husband of Jennifer Stoll of Lititz, and Charles W., Jr. husband of Brenda Stoll of Fredericksburg, VA; seven grandchildren, Mason, Hailey, Crystal, Carina, Brittany, Cameron and Paige; three great grandchildren, Kylie, Joseph and Stephen; two brothers, Harry P., III husband of Elizabeth Stoll of Ephrata, and David D. husband of Linda Stoll of Landisville; a sister, Dena G. wife of Joe Palacios of Columbia. He was preceded in death by a sister Barbara R. Wissler.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the Richard A. Sheetz Funeral Home, 2024 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, PA with Pastor Dennis F. Woods officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. and on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment in Conestoga Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Christopher Reeves Foundation, 636 Morris Turnpike, Suite 3A, Short Hills, NJ 07078 or to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603.
