Clair M. Shearer
Clair M. Shearer, 81, of Lancaster, passed away on May 10, 2018. He was the loving husband of Joan S. Shearer. Born in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of the late Fred M. and Kathryn (Baxter) Shearer.
After graduating from high school, Clair spent much of his career with J.L. Clark retiring as the Director of Lithography.
In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, trains, traveling and spending time with his family.
Clair was a proud member of the National Railroad Historical Society as well as the Lions Club.
In addition to his wife, Joan, he is survived by a son, Eugene E. Shearer (husband of Denise) of Pequea, PA as well as multiple nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Betty Schultz.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Memorial Service at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery, 435 Manor Ave, Millersville, PA 17551 on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 1:00 PM.
