David W. Neuer

David W. Neuer, 56 of Lititz, PA went home to be with the Lord on June 30, 2013 at Hospice and Community Care on Good Drive in Lancaster, PA after a lengthy illness.  Born in Sunbury, PA David was the son of David D. and Charlotte Newman Neuer.  He was the husband of Elizabeth “Betsy” Chandler Neuer, father of Jennifer “Jenny” E. Neuer, also of Lititz, and brother of Karen A. Martinez of Lebanon, PA.  He was predeceased by his parents-in-law, Davis and Ellen Chandler.

David was a member of Lititz United Methodist Church for 12 years.  He was employed by Red Rose Transit Authority as a bus operator for many years.

Dave enjoyed the outdoors, particularly canoeing and boating on the Chesapeake Bay.  He also had a love for camping and traveling, but his dearest pastime was spending time with his daughter.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service to celebrate Dave’s life at First United Methodist Church, corner of Duke and Walnut Sts., Lancaster, PA on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 11:00 with the Rev. Kerry Leeper officiating.  The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
