Dean S. Proctor

Dean Scott Proctor, 59 years old, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at home. Born in Hershey Hospital on March 14, 1959, he was the son of the late Jere Donald Proctor, Sr. and Ruth Elizabeth (Myers) Proctor.

He worked for Utility Trailer Co. and Jason’s Woods. Dean enjoyed going for boat rides, watching wrestling and car races, and loved helping people. He was a member of the Rohrerstown Fire Company, where he spent many years serving with the fire police.

He is survived by a brother, Gary Lee Proctor of Lancaster, husband of Mary J. (Cosgrove) Proctor, a sister, Mary Elizabeth (Proctor) Huber of Hunker, wife of Mike Huber, and many nieces and nephews.

Dean is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jere Donald Proctor, Jr.

Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service for Dean on Friday, July 27, 2018 at the DeBord Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange Street, Lancaster, PA at 3:00PM. Friends may greet the family from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Private interment will take place in the Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dean’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
