Denis R. Hildebrand

Denis R. Hildebrand, 80, of Willow Valley Communities, passed away unexpectedly on April 7, 2025 at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health. He was the loving husband of the late Elizabeth C. Hildebrand. Born in Lancaster, PA he was the son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Baker) Hildebrand.

After high school, he proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

After receiving his associates degree, Denis spent much of his career self-employed as a computer programmer and as a private consultant. After his retirement he enjoyed driving cars for the Manheim Auto Auction.

In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his adoring wife and traveling with her and their friends. He also was an avid pool player even playing at Willow Valley Communities.

Denis, is survived by his children, Ronnie Mull (husband of Alecia) and David Mull (husband of Mana); a grandchild, Justin Mull and great-grandchildren, Ryan and Anthony.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at Lampeter Church of the Brethren, 1900 Lampeter Rd, Lancaster, PA 17602 on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM. A viewing will be held the evening prior, Monday, April 14, 2025 at DeBord Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17602 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A second viewing will be held at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral. Interment will follow in New Providence Mennonite Cemetery.
