Dennis Eugene Palm

Dennis Eugene Palm, 63, of Lancaster, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at his residence with his family by his side.

Born in Ephrata, he was the son of the late J. Donald and Ella Mae Rote Palm.  He was the husband of Jill Newswanger Palm to whom he had been married for 37 years.

He was a graduate of Ephrata High School and had an Associates Degree from Penn State University.  He worked as a mechanic in several industries spanning 37 years.

He was a member and volunteer at LCBC and spent years working in Boy Scouts.  Drumming was his passion.  He enjoyed playing for his church, for the community, and was a member of the band Blue Rock Connection.  He cherished time spent with his family, particularly his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Jill, Dennis is survived by his daughter, Andria M., wife of Corbett Brickle of Springfield, MA and his son, Nathan E., husband of Catherine Palm of Millersville, PA; four siblings: Beverly Maharg, Bonnie Gerhard, Barbara LaFrance, and Dwight Palm; along with six grandchildren: Rashon, CJ, Derryck, Malorie, Kailey and Quinn.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to celebrate Dennis’s life at LCBC, 313 W. Liberty St., Lancaster, PA 17603 on

Saturday December 3, 2016 at 11am

with Pastor Brad Steele officiating.  The family will greet friends at

10am

, before the memorial service begins.
