Diana JangDhari, 83, of Lancaster, passed away Monday, March 29, 2010 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph JangDhari, who passed away in 1969.
She was born in Trinidad, where she grew up with her 13 brothers and sisters. She and her husband later moved to the United States. She will be remembered for her strong Christian faith which helped carry her through her life; from raising her seven children, especially after the death of her husband, to helping friends and family in need. She had a generous spirit and opened her home to many.
Surviving are: 7 children, Charles JangDhari of Lancaster, Judy wife of Oleg Jakubowicz of Lancaster, Juliet JangDhari of Florida, Josephine wife of Dennis Mahoney of West Chester, Jewel wife of Jim Campagna of Gordonville, Rosemarie JangDhari of Miami, FL, Joy JangDhari of Maryland; 22 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. 13 brothers and sisters.
In celebration of her life, funeral services will be held from the Worship Center, 2383 New Holland Pike, Lancaster, on Monday, April 5, 2010 at 11 AM with interment following in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 9:30 to 11 AM at the church.
