She was the wife of Angel Mercardo.
Diane had last been employed as a property manager of a hotel in Long Island, NY.
She was of the Catholic faith. Her hobby was doing crossword and Sudoku puzzles.
Surviving besides her husband is a step daughter, Carmen L. wife of Leonid Monet; five step grandsons, Manny, Mario, Mikey, Matthew and Marc.
A Christian Prayer Service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 5:00 P.M. at DeBord Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
