Doris M. Rinier, 86, a resident of ManorCare, Lancaster, died Monday, August 15, 2016.
Born in Gordonville, she was the daughter of the late Amos F. and Marie Bernhart Rinier.
Doris was a seamstress and retired from the former Tower Enterprises in Bird-In-Hand. She had also worked for many years as a cosmetologist. She enjoyed camping and boating in her earlier years. Doris enjoyed life and was always a happy person in spite of her life situation.
Surviving is a brother Richard C. Rinier of Lancaster and nieces and nephews. She was cared for in her later years by her nieces Joan Gaul and Linda Miller. She was preceded in death by sisters Helen C. Dickel Singer and Miriam Heller.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 20, at 10:00 A.M. at the DeBord Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St, Lancaster. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Interment in Riverview Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Debord Snyder Funeral Home to help with a bronze memorial for Doris.
