Dorothy E. Hartman
Dorothy E. Hartman, of Lancaster, passed away during her 100th year, on Monday, September 28, 2015 at Manor Care. She was the loving wife of the late Andrew D. Hartman, Sr.
Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas H. and Nellie (Gast) Hynicka.
Her most recent employer was Millersville University where she worked as a housekeeper.
In her spare time she enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting, playing cards, and bingo.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the wonderful care given to their mother by the entire Manor Care staff.
She is survived by her four children, Loretta M. Burke, Andrew D. Hartman, Jr. (husband of Cheryl), Thomas H. Hartman (husband of Marilyn) and Donna J. Keeports. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service at Faith Bible Fellowship Church, 151 Donerville Rd., Lancaster, PA 17603 on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 11:00 AM with the Pastor David A. Thomann officiating. Friends may greet the family from 10:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be private in Riverview Burial Park. Contributions may be made in her memory to Faith Bible Fellowship Church at the address shown above.
