Dorothy H. Bowers

Dorothy H. Bowers, 91, of Cross Keys Village, New Oxford, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2011. Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Sadie T. Winterbottom Hartsock. She was the wife of the late Cyrus M. Bowers. Dorothy was a 1942 and 1943 skating member of the Ice Capades. She was a life member of the Lancaster Kennel Club, a member of the Basset Hound Club of America, and a founding member of the Susquehanna Basset Hound Club. Dorothy is survived by: a sister, Sara M. Cullison of Hanover; nieces, Susan Bissett of Lansdale, Michele Crumrine of Hanover; nephews David Schlomer of Harrisburg and Michael Cullison of Cleveland, OH.
