Dorothy M. Kauffman
Dorothy M. Kauffman, age 96, passed away on September 12, 2015 at home. A lifetime resident of Lancaster, PA, she was the wife of the late Ivan F. Kauffman who passed away in 2009. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mabel Myers.
She thoroughly enjoyed ballroom dancing, gardening, reading, cooking and a daily dose of chocolate. She also worked in retail.
Dorothy is survived by a daughter Brenda, wife of Ronald Bejgrowicz of Lancaster, and one granddaughter, Sarah Bejgrowicz, of North Carolina.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Kauffman and a twin brother, Samuel M. Myers.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff and volunteers at Hospice & Community Care and to Special Care for their devoted caregivers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
