Dorothy N. Ehleiter
Dorothy N. Ehleiter, 97, formerly of Morningside Drive, Lancaster, died Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Masonic Village in Elizabethtown.
She was the wife of the late William C. Ehleiter, Sr. who died in 1986. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late John L. and Anna M. Bowman Norbeck.
Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of Community United Methodist Church in Lancaster. She enjoyed gardening, following the Phillies and bowling in the Early Bird League at Leisure Lanes.
Surviving is a son William C., Jr. husband of Barbara Slaugh Ehleiter of Lancaster; a daughter, Linda M. wife of Charles E. Shenk of Lancaster; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sisters Miriam Knoll and Florence Muehleisen.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. at Community United Methodist Church, 130 Tennyson Drive, Lancaster, PA with the Rev. Carolene Brubaker officiating. Friends may call at the church on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family in Riverview Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Community United Methodist Church, 130 Tennyson Drive, Lancaster, PA 17602 or to the Masonic Village Hospice, 1 Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
