Earl H. Rinier
Earl H. Rinier, 85, formerly of Pittsburg Valley Road, Conestoga, died Friday August 9, 2013 at Brereton Manor.
He was the husband of the late Pauline R. Klaus Rinier who died in 1998. Born in Conestoga, he was raised by John Rinier.
Earl retired from Safe Harbor Water Power Corporation where he had worked for 40 years. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a life member of the V.F.W. Earl enjoyed hunting, spending time in Potter County and following the Phillies.
Surviving is a daughter, Janice L. wife of John G. Leakway of Conestoga; a grandson, John, Jr. husband of Stephanie A. Leakway of Conestoga; two great grandchildren, Sydney and Rylee Leakway; and a sister Loretta Martin of Millersville.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Pequea Church, 40 Church Road, Lancaster, PA with the Rev. Daleen Charles officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. Interment with Military Honors in the Highville United Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Hospice for All Seasons, 2741 Paxton St., Suite 200, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
