Edith Holt Davidson

Edith Holt Davidson, age 87, of Lancaster, died Saturday, January11, 2014.  She was born 10/15/1926 in Philadelphia, PA to Arthur W. and Ethel C. (nee Allison) Holt.  She graduated from Germantown High School and worked at the Federal Reserve in Philadelphia until marrying “the boy next door”, Robert S. Davidson.  A longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Germantown, at age 60 moved to Florida with her husband and became an active member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Dunedin: visiting members as a Stephen Minister, serving meals-on-wheels, and volunteering in the church office.  She is survived by daughters Lee Heisey (Bill) of Lancaster and Doris Ramsdell (Tom) of Oreland, PA.  She was pre-deceased by her husband of 55 years, and her parents, and siblings.  As well as her family and her faith, Edith loved books and music.  A memorial service will be held at Highland Presbyterian Church, 500 E. Roseville Rd. Lancaster, PA 17601, on Saturday, January 18
