Edward H. Cibula, 69, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Lancaster Regional Hospital. Born on December 17, 1946 in York, PA, he was the son of the late John F. Cibula, and Annie L. (Roberts) Cibula.
Following graduation from Manheim Township High School in 1965, Ed worked as a surveyor for the J.C. Engineering for a number of years, then worked for a number of local companies, the last being at Woodcrest Villa as a security guard.
In addition to his mother Annie Cibula, Ed is survived by his brother John of Baltimore, sister Judy of Mooresville, NC., and Nancy of Lancaster, PA. Also surviving is his loving companion Karen Shank of Ephrata, PA.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service at DeBord Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17602 on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Friends may greet the family at the funeral home from 10:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Otterbein United Methodist Church, 20 E. Clay St, Lancaster, PA 17602.
