Elsie Jean Wagner

Elsie Jean (Ide) Wagner, 86 of Lancaster, PA passed away on May 22, 2017 at The Willow Valley Communities. She was born in Idetown, PA on April 21, 1931, and was the daughter of Harry E. and Ruth Brace Ide. She attended Wilkes-Barre Business College, graduated from Bloomsburg State College and taught school at Watsontown, PA in the Warrior Run School District.

After moving to Willow Street, she was an organist at the West Willow Methodist Church for 10 years, past president of the Willow Street Women’s Club, and a member of OES Eastern Star of Quarryville, PA.

She is survived by her son, Mark Lewis Wagner of CA, two granddaughters, Ruby and Zoe Wagner, a sister Doris Bunca of NC., and was preceded in death by her husband, Alden Wagner and son, Paul Alden Wagner.

A memorial service will be held at the Johnson Auditorium of Willow Valley Manor North, 600 Willow Valley Square, Lancaster, PA on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 11:00 am. Friends may greet the family following the service.  To leave an online condolence please visit: www.DeBordSnyder.com
