Florence Mae W. Coyle
Florence Mae W. Coyle, 96, formerly of Lower Merion, passed away, Sunday, March 25, 2012 at the Glen at Willow Valley. Born in Germantown, she was the daughter of the late Russell S. and Melvina Green Wood. She was the wife of the late Sgt. Major George W. Coyle who died in December of 1971.
Florence was a graduate of the University of Penn and a teacher in Lower Merion from 1937 to 1972. After retirement, she volunteered for many years at Cape Regional Medical Center in New Jersey. She was a member of St. Mary Episcopal Church in Stone Harbor, NJ, and the Garden Club.
She is survived by 6 nephews and 2 nieces. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, William C. Wood, Russell Wood, Jr., Kenneth G. Wood; and a sister, Thelma Wood.
A graveside service will be held at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 11 AM.
