Flossie M. Killheffer
Flossie M. Killheffer (née Sensenderfer) died at LGH on July 3, 2017 at the age of 86. She is survived by her husband Jacob H. Killheffer; her daughters Lorraine Killheffer of Lancaster and Cathy Kirchner (Charles) of Sun City Center, Florida; and her nieces Regina Zimmerman (Bob) of Reinholds, Carol Keene (Bruce) of Orefield, and Rita Ressler (John) of Brownstown.
Flossie was born in Lancaster, graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School in 1948, and from LGH School of Nursing in 1951. She worked for many years at LGH as the night charge nurse on 5 North. She also worked as an industrial nurse at Pennsylvania Malleable and Kerr Glass Manufacturing and as a nurse at Crooked Oak Family Medicine.
No viewing or funeral service will be held. Contributions in Flossie’s memory may be made to Kindred Hospice, 4660 Trindle Road, Suite 204, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
