Frederick H. Haufler, Sr.
Frederick H. Haufler, Sr., 83, a resident of the Landis Homes Retirement Community, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014.
He was the husband of Marjorie J. Hamilton Haufler. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Harry G. and Leah E. Lewis Haufler.
Frederick was the past president and CEO of Aldine Technical Products. He was a graduate of Central High School and Pierce Business College in Philadelphia, the Berks Bible Institute in Reading and attended the Wharton School of Business at the University of PA. He was the past president of the Berks Christian School and a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Surviving besides his wife is a son, Frederick H., Jr husband of Lana Haufler of Reading; three daughters, Laura Jean wife of Donald Longenecker of Folly Beach, SC, Bethanne M. Haufler of Berks County, and Jennifer K. wife of Errin Mulberry of Womelsdorf; 10 grandchilden, and 5 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held on Satruday, March 15, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2151 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA with the Rev. Dr. Michael A. Rogers officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Landis Homes Retirement Community, 1001 E. Oregon Road, Lititz, PA 17543
