George H. Mcbride

George H. McBride, 93, of 675 Willow Valley Square, Lancaster, PA died Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the Glen at Willow Valley. He was the husband of Jean Schoffstall McBride and they celebrated 72 years of marriage. Born in Clifton Heights, PA he was the son of the late John and Janet Curruthers McBride. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Lancaster.

Mr. McBride was an Aero Space Specialist for General Electric. He enjoyed bowling and square dancing. The last of his immediate family, he is survived by nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service in the Johnson Auditorium of Willow Valley Manor North, 600 Willow Valley Square, Lancaster, PA on Thursday, February 4th at 11:00 a.m. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Johnson Auditorium on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
