George R. Mark, 84, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2011 at his home at Willow Valley Lakes Manor, Willow Street, PA. He was the son of the late Harry and Mary (Thomas) Mark of Philadelphia. He is survived by his wife, Joanne, and children: Deborah Carullo (Domenic), William Mark (deceased), Linda Stamm (Paul), Beverly Nordgren (James), Barbara Mannices (Richard) and eight grandchildren.
George enjoyed summers in Ocean City, NJ, as well as many hunting and fishing trips with friends and family. He was a Navy veteran and a member of Masonic Lodge #0067 F & AM.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Thomas Auditorium of Willow Valley Lakes Manor, 300 Willow Valley Lakes Dr., Willow Street, PA. The family will greet friends immediately following the memorial service. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Lancaster County, 685 Good Drive, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
