Harry A. Jenkins

Harry A. Jenkins, 101, of Lancaster, died on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at St. Anne’s Retirement Community.  He was the husband of the late Virgie M. Jenkins who died June 19, 2007.

Born in Conestoga, PA he was the son of the late Harry I. and Ella (Good) Jenkins.

Mr. Jenkins worked for over 40 years for Hamilton Watch Company and was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Rohrerstown where he served as a deacon and elder.

Surviving is a daughter, Joyce Ludwig of Washington Boro; a granddaughter Jeanine, wife of Scott Lineberry of York, and two great granddaughters, Elizabeth and Kayleigh Lineberry.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 25, 2014 at 2:00 PM the Salem United Church of Christ of Rohrerstown, 2312 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, with the Rev. Laverne DiNino officiating.  Friends may call at the church on Monday  from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Interment in the Rohrerstown Lutheran and Reformed Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mr. Jenkins memory may be made to the Salem United Church of Christ of Rohrerstown, 2312 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA 17603.
