Hazel Lord, 76, of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, September 22, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy.
She was the wife of the late James J. Lord who died in 1995. Born in England, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Elsie Barnes Moore.
Hazel had been employed for many years in the housekeeping departments of various nursing homes. She enjoyed shopping, knitting and listening to Elvis Presley. She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Lancaster.
Surviving are three daughters, nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, a brother and a sister.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 26, at 3:00 P.M at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 321 W. Chestnut St., Lancaster, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
