Helen L. Stolz

Helen L. Stolz, 69, of Blain, died Tuesday, November 16, 2010 while on vacation  in Waynesboro, VA.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late  Paul S. and Hilda M. Wilson Newswanger.  She was the companion of Henry Keyton.  Her husband the late Thomas Stolz died in 2000.

Mrs. Stolz had worked at  the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center for many years where she had been  employed as the banquet manager. She was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran  Church in Elizabethtown.  Her interests included collecting antiques and  knitting.

Surviving is a son, Michael Mahle of Columbia; a daughter,  Malinda Farr of New Cumberland; four grandchildren; and a brother, Thomas  husband of Stephanie Newswanger of Lititz.

A Funeral Service will be held  on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Kearney A. Snyder Funeral  Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA.  Friends may call at the funeral home on  Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service.  Interment in the Middle  Octorara Presbyterian Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name  may be made to Hospice of Lancaster County, 685 Good Drive, P.O. Box 4125,  Lancaster, PA  17604-4125.
