Helen Tinley Lewis
December 16, 2011, Helen Tinley Lewis, 94, passed away. Born in Baltimore to the late Frederick C.B. and Maud Ellingsworth Tinley on June 11, 1917. She married the late Trevor C. Lewis on January 9, l942 and is survived by their four children: Nancy Paluch of Ladson, SC; Beverly Cryer of Lancaster, PA; Trevor (Chip) Lewis Jr., of Monkton, MD; and Jean Cook of Cockeysville, MD. Other survivors include seven of her eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2151 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA on Tuesday, December 20th at 11:00 A.M. The family will greet friends immediately following the memorial service.
A graveside service will also be held Tuesday at 3:00 P.M. at Hereford Baptist Church, 9 Mt. Carmel Road, Parkton, MD.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Hospice of Lancaster County, 685 Good Dr., P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-412; Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2151 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601; or Harvest Presbyterian Church, 517 Beaver Valley Pike, Lancaster, PA 17602.
