Henry Robert Ford, 64 of Lancaster, PA died Thursday, December 22nd at Hospice of Lancaster County after a 4 ½ year illness. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Robert M. Ford of Lancaster and the late Annette Desellier Ford. He and his wife, Margo Ellen McClune Ford celebrated their 40th anniversary on September 25th.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Henry was a graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School. A proud veteran of the United States Army, he completed training for the 101st Airborne
Division prior to serving a tour of duty in Viet Nam. For 41 years he was employed by J. L. Clark as a machine operator.
He was a devoted family man who also enjoyed music and reading.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his daughter, Heather Lynn Schober of Mountville, his son, Eric William Ford at home, and three brothers, Ronald A., Barry L., and Gary K. Ford. He was predeceased by a brother Albert M. Ford.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral from Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster PA on Thursday, December 29th at 10:30 A.M. with the Rev. Kerry E. Leeper officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service. Interment will be in Conestoga Memorial Park. Please omit flowers.
