Howard D. Young
Howard Donald Young, 81,of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018. He was the loving husband of Janet Young. The son to Howard Joseph and Lyda Reese Young, Howard was born on August 13, 1936 in Ridley Park, PA.
A lifelong lover of dancing, Howard graduated from Marple-Newtown High School in 1955. After which he served in the U.S. Naval Reserves and later worked for Burroughs-Unisys and Sikorsky Helicopter.
Howard is survived by his wife Janet, sons Donald (Tammy), Jeffrey (Gina), and Thomas (Kim) Young, 8 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service at the Parkesburg United Methodist Church 411 Main St, Parkesburg, PA 19365 on Saturday, August 18 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Mark Beideman officiating. Friends may greet the family for visitation beginning at 9:00 AM.
