Hugh Charles Lovell, age 86, died peacefully at Willow Valley, Lancaster, Pennsylvania on

Born January 22, 1929, in Worcester, Massachusetts, Hugh worked for 35 years as an executive for DuPont.  He was an active member of the church community, volunteering tirelessly his time and energies. He was a man of many interests; an accomplished athlete, painter and singer.  He was a generous and kind inspiration to us all.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Jones Lovell, also of Worcester, Massachusetts, whom he was married to for 68 years.  He is also survived by their two children, Thomas Ward Lovell and Suzanne Lovell.  Hugh and Patty are the proud grandparents of four grandchildren, Russell and Laura Lovell, and William Marble and Alice Lovell Rossiter.

Services will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, January 26th, at the Willow Valley Chapel, 2400 Willow Street Pike, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  Burial will be held in private at the 1

Presbyterian Church in Lancaster.
