Ian Andrew Campbell, 29, of New Danville, left this world suddenly on December 16, 2017. Born March 4, 1988 in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of Gary D. and Cynthia C. (Charles) Campbell. He is survived by a brother, Patrick, grandmother, Billie Charles and grandfather, Donald Campbell. Also surviving are aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by a grandmother, Arlene Campbell and a grandfather, Andrew Charles, Jr.
Ian graduated from Hempfield High School in 2006. His interests have included reptiles, fishing, Systema Martial Arts and collecting, classifying and selling meteorites. His knowledge of plants and animals was extensive; while hiking in the woods he could identify every tree and animal around him. Extremely sociable, he loved being surrounded by his friends and he was loyal and helpful to them.
Those of us fortunate to have known and loved Ian understood his long, difficult struggle with addiction.
Ian, may you be free and your essence be one with God and the Universe.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. To honor Ian’s memory, please consider a donation to the North Museum, 400 College Ave, Lancaster, PA 17603.
